Kanipakam Temple Darshan & Seva Booking

Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple, popularly known as Kanipakam Temple, is one of South India’s most sacred and ancient Ganesha temples. Located in Kanipakam village, just 11 km from Chittoor and 68 km from Tirupati, this divine shrine is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, revered here as Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy.

The temple is especially known for its Swayambhu idol (self-manifested), which is said to be growing in size over the years—a spiritual marvel witnessed by countless devotees. Originally built in the 11th century CE by Chola ruler Kulottunga I, the temple was later expanded by the Vijayanagara dynasty.
